Mike Boggild

Area of expertise: multiple sclerosis

Dr. Boggild is a consultant neurologist at The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool. A neurologist is a doctor who specialises in treating conditions affecting the nervous system. Dr Boggild runs a service caring for about 2,000 patients with multiple sclerosis.

He has carried out research in many different areas including different ways of delivering health services, genetics, and how to put medical research into practice. He is currently leading a study on new drugs for multiple sclerosis.
