Professor Moayyedi is professor of gastroenterology at the University of Birmingham. He has published many papers on indigestion, the role of Helicobacter pylori and the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). He is an editor for the Cochrane library, which collects and analyses research to help doctors put research into practice.
